Saroj Yadav, a 31-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur district, set herself on fire after her brother persuaded her to do so in order to frame her neighbour, Pawan Gupta, after their parents were taken to the police station following a dispute. Saroj sustained severe burns and is currently in critical condition.
