Myanmar military strength likely half of current estimates: USIP scholar

The US-based think tank, USIP, has released a report suggesting that the size of Myanmar's military is likely much smaller than previously thought and that the country's armed opposition is still very strong. The report also argues that the international community should stop engaging with the military junta as if it is guaranteed to win the conflict.
