Censorship in Hong Kong has led to ‘war’ on libraries and publishers

Since the law came into effect in 2020, Libraries in Hong Kong have been required to remove books from their shelves that are deemed to be politically sensitive. This has led to a cull of books, and less time for staff to invest in new ones. Some Hong Kongers are calling it a "war on libraries". The restrictions are affecting some people's desire to write books at all.
