After working abroad for nearly a year in Central America and Southeast Asia, Harrison returned to London and found it difficult to find an apartment on a budget. He started looking into the possibility of living in a skip, or dumpster, and found that an arts charity, Antepavilion, had granted him an empty, grassy lot in Southwark. Harrison spent around $5,000 to build his tiny home on the lot, which includes an entrance up a small ladder and through a hatch door, and stored his clothes in built-in wooden boxes. He lives in the home with minimal inconveniences, such as the small amount of storage space, the small window and light levels, and the need to leave to use the toilet.
