Banned Iranian TV using social media to back Jeremy Corbyn’s ‘witch hunt’ claims

The Iranian state TV is using Social Media to evade a broadcast ban and back Jeremy Corbyn's claim to be a victim of a witch-hunt over anti-Semitism. The programme is promoting anti-Semitic content and is being pushed by two prominent left-wing figures who have been accused of anti-Semitism in recent years. Facebook still permits Press TV to hold an official page on its platform, giving it direct access to more than 3.7 million followers. Twitter has 476,734 followers which are significantly boosted by a potential reach of up to 7.2 million followers supplied by accounts belonging to supporters. YouTube has removed accounts for Press TV and Palestine Declassified.
