Church of England ‘obstructing its own safeguarding panel’ as calls grow for new chairman

Church of England officials are claiming that they are being hindered in their work by the Independent Safeguarding Board, which was formed in January 2022. The board members say that they have been met with hostility by Church officials and that there has been interference with their work. The concerns have been echoed by abuse victims who claim that unless the Church revokes its appointment of the new ISB chair as Meg Munn, they will refuse to work with the ISB and share their testimonies.
