Fox News apologizes to judge in defamation case for failing to disclose Rupert Murdoch’s role at the network

Fox News issued an apology to a Delaware judge for failing to properly define the formal role of Rupert Murdoch, chairman of Fox Corp. Fox is scheduled to begin a trial Monday in which it will have to defend itself against claims by Dominion Voting Systems that its voting machines were rigged in the 2020 presidential election. If Fox loses the trial, it could be ordered to pay damages to Dominion.
