France looks on with bated breath as its Constitutional Council rules on Macron’s pension reform

The Constitutional Council is scheduled to announce its ruling on President Emmanuel Macron's contested Pension Reform plan. If the Council approves the reform, the bill raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 can enter into force. If the Council rejects the reform, the protests and strikes will continue.
