National Trust rangers to protect UK’s rarest seabirds using lifeboat house base

The National Trust has moved three rangers into a Lifeboat House on a remote shingle spit in order to protect a colony of one of the UK's rarest seabirds, the little tern. Visitors are urged to follow signage and always watch their step as birds do not obey fence lines.
