Romanian and Bulgarian farmers angry at Ukrainian agricultural imports

Farmers in Romania and Bulgaria staged protests on Friday to express their anger over the European Union's compensation package in response to a glut of agricultural products from Ukraine. They say the imports are flooding local markets and undercutting prices. The EU has promised to help grain and cereal farmers in Romania, Bulgaria, and Poland with a total compensation package of 56.3 million euros, but farmers and national governments say the money isn't enough.
