Singapore’s banking authority says DBS outage was ‘unacceptable’

DBS Group's digital services were disrupted for 10 hours on Wednesday, with customers not able to access online Banking or make trades. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has instructed the bank to investigate the cause of the disruption and has warned it may take further action. However, DBS's strong banking franchise and reputation should protect it from any long-term damage from the incident.
