Relativity’s first 3D-printed rocket launches successfully but fails to reach orbit

Relativity Space successfully launched its inaugural flight of its Terran 1 rocket late Wednesday night, but the engine sputtered and failed to Reach Orbit. The company plans to use its 3D printing technology to create rockets much faster than traditional methods, and the flight demonstrated the viability of the strategy.
