It is good deal for private contractors and the only option for many residents in Cameroon's economic capital, Douala. Many residents have to queue up outside a brewery to get Drinking water, and the city continues to spread, making the access to water a problem. President Paul Biya has asked the government to launch a "mega-project of drinking water supply" in Douala and its surroundings starting from 2023.
