As Sisodia Resigns after Arrest in Excise Case, CBI Prepares for ‘Snooping’ Probe, ‘DTC Scam’ Dangles over Successor Gahlot

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, resigned on Tuesday after the Supreme Court refused to intervene in his plea challenging his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the liquor scam case. The CBI is likely to file an FIR in the "snooping case" against Sisodia and other AAP-associated suspects soon. Meanwhile, Kailash Gahlot, the successor to Sisodia in the Delhi government, may soon face CBI heat in the "DTC bus scam" case.
