In a statement to Tips Supporting News, a spokesperson for Majors denied any wrongdoing by the actor.

"He did nothing wrong," the spokesman said. "We look forward to his name being cleared and cleared."

Majors appeared briefly in court, where the judge Released him on his own confession. The next court date is May 8.

New York City police said Majors, star of "Creed III" and the recently released "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania," was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. Police responded around 11 a.m. to a 911 call inside an apartment in the Manhattan borough of Chelsea.

An NYPD spokesperson said in a statement that the victim reported the assault to police. Officers took the 33-year-old into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to the district hospital in stable condition.”

An Nypd Spokesperson confirmed to the Associated Press that he was no longer in police custody as of Saturday night.

Jonathan Majors spotted leaving Manhattan Criminal Courthouse.

At 11pm Jonathan Majors was released after he was arrested for attacking a woman described as his girlfriend. He wore a baseball cap with the word freedom on it and a mask as he faced the judge with his attorney. An order of protection was given to the victim and Mr. Majors was released and was escorted out of the courthouse to a waiting vehicle.

Majors is one of the fastest rising stars in Hollywood. After breaking through 2019's "The Last Black Man in San Francisco," Majors starred in "Da 5 Bloods," "The Harder They Fall," and last year's "Dedication." He also stars in "Magazine Dreams" at the Sundance Film Festival, which will be released by Searchlight Pictures in December.
