Fans on Social Media criticized prominent comedy actor Tayo Amokede, often known as Ijebu, after he promised to gather Money to refurbish his former secondary school.
Ijebu begged the public to help his previous school become better in a post on his social media account where he also shared how horrible it was there.
He underlined that without government assistance, the community could improve the school.
He wrote, ” I Believe We can do this without government support… My Town People Arise Now. Thanks”
However, fans were quick to call out Ijebu, reminding him that he had previously shown support for APC and should therefore call on them to provide funding for public schools, instead of relying on individual donations.
Several fans also tell him to use his money since he has money to lodge at hotels every weekend.
