The PVEM candidate in Puerto Vallarta, Francisco Sánchez Gaeta, is found dead

The licensed councilor in Puerto Vallarta and candidate for municipal trustee of the Green Ecologist Party (PVEM), Francisco Sánchez Gaeta, was found dead on Saturday, April 27th.

The Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the death of the candidate and indicated that he has already opened an investigation folder. Although he did not disclose the causes of death.

The first reports indicate that Sánchez Gaeta’s lifeless body was found inside a car that was on the road that leads to the Mascota municipality.

Unofficially, it was reported that the politician had been missing since last Friday, April 19.

The homicide occurred in the El Paso neighborhood, on Benito Juárez Avenue, near the “La Playa” spa.

Residents alerted the state authorities about detonations and the subsequent discovery of a dead person in the street.

To date, the causes of this attack are unknown and local authorities have not been able to identify those allegedly responsible.
