President Andrés Manuel López Obrador supervised this afternoon the Railroad Station that will be part of the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in Matías Romero, Oaxaca.

In an aerial view that he shared on his Twitter account, he highlighted that the Matías Romero railway zone had come to a halt after former President Ernesto Zedillo privatized the railways, in addition to the disappearance of passenger trains.
“The workers and countrymen of Demetrio Vallejo are happy,” said the president.
He announced that on September 17 they will supervise the Isthmus plan by train from Salina Cruz to Coatzacoalcos.
