On Tuesday, July 11, will give free up to 1 million 6-inch subs to promote its new freshly sliced deli meats.

Visit a Subway restaurant on Tuesday between 10 AM and 12 PM local time to enjoy a free sandwich. The fast food chain’s new Deli Heroes menu has four 6-inch subs inspired by traditional deli sandwiches.

According to a news release, the new sandwiches are the result of a $80 million investment in new deli meat slicers that were given to all Subway franchisees and placed in 20,000 restaurants.

Subway sandwich giveaway: How to get a free 6-inch sub

On Tuesday, July 11, the first 50 customers who request a free sub will receive one at no cost. You can only get one sandwich per person and you have to order it at the restaurant. If you want to know if the Subway near you is offering the free sandwich, you can either give them a call or stop by and inquire. (Any extras will cost extra, and there will be no replacements. No other coupons or discounts will be accepted.

What Subway sandwiches can I get free on July 11?

Subway is currently giving customers free 6-inch sandwiches made from its new Deli Heroes portfolio of four subs.

• The Titan Turkey (No. 15 on the menu): Turkey, double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and mayonnaise make up the sandwich.
• The Grand Slam Ham (No. 99): The Grand Slam Ham Sandwich made of ham, two slices of provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayonnaise.
• The Garlic Roast Beef (No. 17):  Served on a ciabatta roll with a roasted garlic aioli, roast beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions.
• The Beast (No. 30): The 12-inch sandwich is loaded with half a pound of meat, including pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, and roast beef, as well as two slices of provolone cheese, some lettuce, some tomatoes, some red onions, some mayonnaise, and some “Most Valuable Ingredient.” Dressing with herbs, garlic, and parmesan called vinaigrette.

Why is Subway giving away free sandwiches?

It’s a smart strategy for winning over potential buyers and bringing back former buyers. Subway has upgraded over 10,000 locations in North America “with a fresh look and feel,” the firm claimed, and “continues to roll out enhancements to its digital experience to make online ordering easier and faster.”

Subway’s North American president, Trevor Haynes, was quoted in a press release as saying, “Over the past two years, we overhauled our expansive pantry of ingredients and debuted a whole new way to Subway with chef-crafted signature sandwiches.” Even greater and more revolutionary shifts are occurring this year…. We are really excited for America to try the new flavor and realize how far we have come.

Another factor: Subway is up for sale. A note to shareholders indicating that “its shareholders are exploring a possible sale of the company” was posted in February. There is no guarantee of a sale or any indication of when it could happen.

After two years of success, the company hopes to maintain its momentum. In February, Subway stated that its global same-store sales in 2022 were up 9.2 percent from the previous year. The number of stores was reduced by the corporation from around 44,000 to roughly 37,000.

In North America, where there are 17,000 Subways, sales increased by 7.8 percent. Sales in North America are up 11.7% so far this year, while digital sales are up 21.2%, the business reports.

If Subway keeps growing at its current rate, the privately held company might be worth as much as $10 billion, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
