Very simple, just before adding the ingredients, you do one more simple step so that the seaweed doesn’t tear. That is to use another seaweed sheet, but only use 1/4 of it, the remaining 3/4, you can use for the next rice roll.

Like this, first, cut 1/4 of the seaweed, place this piece diagonally on the intact seaweed sheet. Then, add rice and the remaining ingredients and roll. This method was introduced in the food series Let’s Eat 2 on the Korean cable TV network tvN. So feel free to apply it, it will definitely bring excellent results.

In addition, when rolling gimbap rice, you also need to note:

– Put the rough side of the seaweed face up, and the smooth side should be in contact with the bamboo mat (if using a bamboo mat to roll). The rough side will help the rice stick better to the seaweed compared to the smooth side.

– Do not spread rice evenly on the seaweed, only put rice on about 2/3 of the sheet. Observe the seaweed carefully, you will see many parallel lines, dividing the seaweed into several parts. Therefore, discard the first part, start spreading rice from the second part until 2/3 of the seaweed sheet.

– Spread the rice and the remaining ingredients horizontally on the seaweed sheet.
