Gone are the days when parents would read out the bedtime stories to their children. Children’s favorites were fiction-based gigantic heroic characters. Greek mythology where animals are personified as heroes was also captivating. Among them, Godzilla has an exceptional position, a giant beast woken from its slumber who takes terrible vengeance on Japan. People were so religiously following them and almost worshipping them.

If we go through history we would witness that nations spend years making and shaping Godzilla-type characters. However, sometimes they backfire and the results are not according to their calculation. Here I am telling the tale of the one.

There was a unique Country in this cosmos that was nothing but a shuttered Island. On one fine morning, they decided to come out of this dormancy and play an active role in world affairs. The policymakers toil hard to find a person who could best play this role, and finally, they find the one.

This man who was going to become the Godzilla of the nascent state had all the qualities of head and heart. He was not only super fit and well versed but also a “Yes man”. What else they wanted? The propaganda machinery did not take long to make him known as ‘The clean man with a spotless reputation’ to the world. Time was ticking away at a great pace and this Godzilla was doing everything to appease his policymakers. Sometimes even at the cost of their national interest.

The Entire system was orchestrated to facilitate him.  Now this man was ready to introduce to the state machinery, the already in-practice system was toppled to test this newly formed leader. He was given unprecedented support from all sides. He became an aide of the main block that runs the power corridor. He was carefully carved to become untouchable. Till the time came he started believing that he is actually the demigod and can do what he wants.

The time was speedily going and his performance was consistently declining for he became so self-obsessed and wanted to grab everything as he owns it. His corrupt practices and nepotism became the talk of the town. The policymakers were not happy with this development and he was soon to be seen as a liability to the system.

In the history of any nation, Statics play a key role in its people’s prosperity, who were not happy too. Fidgeted figures and false success claims became their regular practice.  There comes a time when people sit together to undo their follies. His wrong policies were affecting the entire society. A kind of hatred he fueled in the very minds of the youth, now taking a toll on the country's moral values. Although, nobody was saved from a malicious false campaign. This was far more damaging to the state infrastructure.

Finally, the power corridors decided to oust him and bring those in power who could deliver. The script was ready, and the actors were ready, the process was quite hectic when he was stripped from Power. Even though he could read the situation but he refused to accept his ouster and coined it as a great international conspiracy. He was successfully selling his vile propaganda and instigating his followers to do more to harness the power corridors till they reverse their decision and make him the leader of the house again.

The country could not stand his melodrama any longer, he thought that he was given a Divine right to do everything he wants. Things were however taking the wrong turn "It is as if there are two beasts inside; both of them live in harmony with all around and do not take offense when no offense is intended. One will only fight when it is right to do so and in the right way. But the other beast is so full of anger and ready to burn everything that comes his way.”

This is not the beginning of the end!

An army of supporter who treats him holier than others is ready to do anything for him. The world has witnessed how mosques and monuments, public property even animals were set on fire. People were lynched, and banks and shops were looted and ransacked by vigilante mobs.

The section of the state is still supporting him, every institute has a good number of his followers. Whenever he is tried in a court of law, he has been given exceptional treatment and considered “more equal than others” 

The chaos created fissures within the main national Pillars. The society has been highly polarized. People had various reasons to follow him: Some want to be classified as very educated or moderate. Some follow him because of his particular ethnicity. His followers are completely blindfolded by his charisma despite his questionable personal and moral character. He is considered so special, so pious, and is exonerated from all forms of corruption. This superior drivel is fed to the weak-minded & those who lack self-esteem. The entire country is being held hostage.

The reputation of the prodigy that eventually became Godzilla is now transforming into a hydra-headed monster, which needs to be weeded out before it is too late. 

This buck has to stop somewhere!

 He is leading the terrorist organization in the garb of political stature and is more malevolent, or influential than any other, having some of the most evil acts on its credit. Firm actions are required to deal with this challenge. Everyone keeps intrigued and reading about how this going to be ended.
