FOR THE SECOND TIME, LALSA ELECTORAL COMMITTEE POSTPONES ELECTORAL ACTIVITIES

Barely few days to the Linguistics and African Languages Students' Association's elections, the Electoral Committee has on Friday, 15 November 2019 announced the change of dates of electoral activities.

In a release circulated on whatsapp by the General Secretary of the commitee , Ojetola Ridwan, the electoral committee attributed the change of dates to some technical issues that need to be attended to, failure of which, considered to be an hindrance to witnessing a free and fair electoral process in the department.

As noted in the newly released statement, the electoral screening is slated to hold on 18th of November 2019 at AFST 213, Manifesto and Debate set to hold on the 19th of November 2019 at Admin LT, while the Election is stated to hold on the 20th of November 2019 at Open Amphi.

Being the second time that electoral activities would be postponed, the committee apologized to Aspirants and students of Linguistics and African Languages for the inconveniences caused, stated that the  technical issues are needed to be attended to for the progress and  development of the department.

Aspirants are reminded to stick to the fixed requirements for the screening as well as other eligibilities.
