How to Check the JEE Main Result 2023 ?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result of Jee Main Session 1, which was conducted in January-February. Candidates who appeared for the Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology Paper 1 can now access their results on the official NTA website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

To retrieve your JEE Main Paper 1 scores, follow these steps:

  1. Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in to access the official website.
  2. On the website, select the “Results for JEE Main 2023: Paper 1 – B.E./B.Tech.” link.
  3. Two URLs will be provided by NTA to check the results.
  4. Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  5. Click the “Submit” button.
  6. Your JEE Main scorecard will be displayed on the screen.
  7. Download it immediately for future reference.

Examination Detail’s

The Jee Main Paper 1 B.E./B.Tech exams were conducted on January 24th, 25th, 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2023. JEE Main 2023 Session 1 was held at various centers across 290 locations in India and 25 places abroad.

According to NTA, a total of 8.22 lakh candidates, or 95.79% of the 8.6 lakh applications for Paper 1, appeared for the exam. NTA states that this is the highest attendance for JEE Main Paper 1 since it began grading the exams.

The JEE Main test was administered in 13 languages, including English, Odia, Marathi, Hindi, Assamese, Punjabi, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The information brochure for JEE (Main) 2023 states that admission to BE/BTech/BArch/BPlanning programs at IIITs, CFTs, and NITs through the central seat allotment board will be based on all-India ranking, with the additional requirement of a minimum of 75% in the 12th standard exams conducted by the relevant education boards.

For applicants from the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, the qualifying score is 65% in the 12th class exams. During the coronavirus outbreak, the qualifying requirements were not applied in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Registration for Session 2 of the JEE Main test has already begun, and exams for Session 2 will be held from April 6th to April 12th, 2023.

  1. Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. On the website, select the tab for Session 2 registration.
  3. Enter your login details, including your application number and password.
  4. Pay the examination fees and submit the application.
  5. Download the form and retain it for future reference.
