the car is not just about exterior and interior it is also about the power and torque which it collects from two available engines. The 2.0L petrol and the 2.0L diesel Engine with only automatic transmission, both the engines are making good amount of power and torque figures.
Talking about the pricing of this Hyundai, Hyundai has launched this in non-pocket friend zone, in simple word this is a premium SUV with premium pricing. The starting price of this car is 27.7 lakh and the top model of this Hyundai is jaw dropping 34.54 lakh these are the ex-showroom price now you can estimate the on road price of this car.
So the car is launched in two variants, the Platinum and the Signature, where you have options for diesel as well as petrol but the car is only available in automatic transmission so manual lovers have to use paddle shifters.

The petrol engine,
1999cc 4 cylinder Nu 2.0 inline DOHC petrol engine, FWD, comes with automatic Torque Converter 6 speed transmission with sports mode and BS6 emission norm.
This engine is capable in churning 154bhp of power at 6200rpm and 192Nm of torque at 4500rpm which is not bad I believe.
Meanwhile the diesel engine,
now, here is a twist, the diesel engine is being offered in 4 wheel drive as well which makes this car more attractive and a true SUV.
1997cc 4 inline cylinder DOHC turbocharged diesel engine, FWD/4WD, 8 speed Torque Converter transmission with sports mode and BS6 emission compliant.
Due to this engine you get 184bhp of power at 4000rpm and diesel is known for its torque and here as well the things are same for diesel as well, you have amazing 416Nm at just 2000rpm means the peak torque hit really quickly.

There is no official statement came out to the market by the brand related to the mileage of this SUV which is very weird but many automobile does that why I don't know. However, there are some sites out there which are talking about the mileage of the Tucson 2022. So, looking at those websites the mileage is around 13kmpl to 15 kmpl which is kinda good for this type of car. The fuel tank size of the Tucson is 54 litres and now you can calculate the range of this vehicle and the range and the mileage makes this car more adorable.

Exterior
It is an stylish looking SUV with a lots of bold and fearless elements that are working great together and making Tucson a phenomenal machine to look at. The freshness of design is coming out smoothly and giving it an awesome stance.
Face
Hyundai has played with the lights greatly thus the face of this car is looking very nice indeed. So, first of all the grille of the car is massive in size and finished in probably gun metal hard to tell that. The most interesting thing about the grille is those DRLs embedded in it. Due to this, the car is appearing very unique. It get 5 DRLs at one side of the car and the indicators are also here well. Following todays tradition of giving headlamps closer to the bumper or you can say placed at the lower side of the face, giving lamps here is a clever idea because this placement the brands are saving money of fog lamps.
The bumper of the car is sharp and because of this sharpness the face is getting an aggressive styling. The car has 2 level of ADAS thus the front of the car is full of sensors and a camera below Hyundai logo.
To give it more striking appearance the hood has been decorated with sporty lines. Rain sensing wipers are ready to serve their best, ORVMs are get LED indicators as usual.
Side scene
Seriously speaking, I'm in love with those cuts and creases present at he side of the car, because this decor there is an incredible enhancement in the personality and making it more handsome than even. The size is showing the SUV characters and providing Tucson an astonishing road presence. Hyundai has gone 10 steps ahead in terms of design. The design of the alloy wheels is adventurous and with 4WD they are ready for anything you throw at it. The ground clearance is superb because it is a SUV and it should have plenty of ground clearance. Climbing up the area of windows is pretty huge as well thus there is an airy feel inside the cabin accompanied by humongous panoramic sunroof, so with all these light drawing things the cabin, which is filled with features have a lively atmosphere that helps you the most when it comes to long tidy trips.Request sensors are there on both the sides of the car but are only available for front seats not for the rear seats and at this price range asking for this is not too much in my opinion. And there are cameras embedded in both the ORVMs which helps is showing us 360 view.
Rear end
Coming to the back of the car, here things are going bit more crazy then other sides of the car. The tail light design is looking absolutely mind boggling, the design of the tail lights is like wings and both the sides of the car are connected to each other by a thin red LED strip which running all across the tail. The presence of the spoiler is adding more sportiness to the car and the spoiler is all hiding the wiper and the washer.
It features electric tail gate which means you don't have to open the gate manually just press a button and there you have the access to boot. Coming to the lower part of the back you have indicators and reversing lamps now the bad thing is that these are not LED and the placement of indicator is new but not the best in my opinion. Having an aggressive diffuser can literally lift up your swag and Tucson features that too, means complete package.
Shark fin antenna is there on the top of the car along with functional roof rails and big panoramic sunroof which almost cover the 80% of the roof means overwhelming environment inside the cabin.
Interior
Hyundai has taken their interior building abilities to next level for this car, you can sense the greatness of the cabin which is full of features, comfy seats, lots of amenities and supreme quality. all the elements of the interior is well put together that are complimenting each other and many an amazing momentum of luxury that soak you in peaceful environment. Rear seats
Here, you have super comfortable seats which are perfect for long trips because these seats comes with reclining feature which is manual but take care of you sitting posture and try to give you what you expect from this price range. Other than this you have three adjustable headrests means the person in the middle can also relax their head. Arm rest is there with cup holder, under thigh support, headroom, knee room and leg room all are more than sufficient. Comes with 60:40 split, child seat mount and AC vents are also there to serve you. Due to big size of windows and huge panoramic sunroof and big quarter glass the cabin is super fresh that helps you in long trips and to light up your mood Hyundai is offering 64 colors of ambient lighting. Cost cutting is important, so give them all one touch up/down windows, rear windows won't get this feature.
Front seats
At front things are getting bit more luxurious, the driver seat is getting 8 way electric seat adjust but electric adjustment is not for the co-passenger which kinda weird. The front seats have nice side bolstering that hugs you tightly. Arm rest is there for you with some storage as well as usual. The seats serves you the best comfort that makes driving more interesting and relaxed.
Dashboard
Whole gets the dual tone treatment to enhance the appearance. The dash of this car is looking amazing, all the elements are going with each other flawlessly. Hyundai has given it a lots of pores in front of co-passenger and in front of driver, these pores works as an AC vents more with more efficient as well, Hyundai call this feature a 'multi air mode' isn't this thing is cool. The quality levels to notch use of soft touch material is there that makes things bit more premium. At the center of the dash it get a big infotainment system that is full of features and works like a butter, below that you get a touch panel for AC it get dual zone climate control AC. Coming down a bit here you have wireless charging facility and two USB ports along with a 12 volt socket. The center console is filled with buttons because here you get electric parking brake, parking sensor button, hill assist button, parking camera, drive mode button and ventilated seat control is also here. The gear knob is looking like the Audi's gear knob. Besides the gear knob you get cup holders.
Steering wheel and instrument cluster
Steering wheel similar to Creta's steering wheel, the four spoke steering wheel is there with lots of controls as well including, adaptive cruise control, usual infotainment control, volume controls, and instrument cluster controls are embedded here too. Surprisingly this car won't have paddle shifters but it does have terrain modes which is only available in diesel variants. The steering is manually adjustable for both reach and height.
Talking about the cluster of the car, it is fully digital which have plenty of information, the car features blind spot function too which shows you your right and left while using indicator of a particular side for making a safe turn or changing lane safely. Cluster changes its interface as per the driving mode you are in. Unfortunately this car misses out heads up display which is nowadays is present in some mass market cars.
At the end.....
Hyundai has increased the temperature of the market after launching this car, the new Tucson is full of features and attitude and have style too. i love the sportiness outside and that peaceful inside which is full of feature and amenities. The best part is that the car is available in both the fuels which means the brand can target both the lover and Hyundai has given cherry on, means 4WD diesel engine now an offroading enthusiast needs nothing this is the lethal combination after all. Having all these stuff the car still misses out many things which are not major concern in my opinion, it misses out, rear LED indicators, paddle shifters, heads up display, all one touch up/down windows and 4WD in petrol engines. Overall the Hyundai has nailed it seriously they nailed it........
