The group in a statement on Saturday, signed by its leader, Ichie Ebube, stated that heads of security and enforcement agencies in the region should with immediate effect be redeployed that it has gotten so bad that that some residents of Enugu, Anambra and Imo states had fled their homes to avoid being killed.

The group accused the Federal Government of treating killer-Fulani herdsmen non challantly while using brute and dangerous force on the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Eastern Security Network. It just didn't make sense that they turn a blind eye to the group of syndicates and thugs that actually kill, maim, rape and plunder while they unleashed all the hells on an unarmed agitation
The statement noted, “While not necessarily supporting ESN or sharing their ideologies in any way, the group's comment was a response to the hazardous and savage butchering by Fulani herdsmen with the implicit support (allegedly) of some security agencies.
 

The group stated that ineffective administration had led to extreme unemployment, starvation, and poverty, all of which it claimed helped to breed the non-state actors that roam the area today. It urged the federal and state governments to start giving unemployed youth stipends of N50,000.

Additionally, it demanded the introduction of a Community Identification Number for all citizens as a way to curb the region's rising insecurity. It also called for amnesty for criminals who had changed their ways.
