What is a party holiday and why should you choose it?

A Party Holiday sometimes referred to as a clubbing holiday is a type of holiday that involves relaxing at a beach resort hotel in the daytime and then partying hard in the nighttime by experiencing the nightlife a specific destination has to offer.

The nightlife activities include indulging in lots of alcoholic beverages and dancing the night away at a nightclub, beach party, bar or other nighttime venue often accompanied by loud live music or DJs and a lively nightlife strip with lots of different party venues along the strip in the destination you are staying in.

This often results in many tourist congregating together at night time and partying their holiday nights away. When it comes to the daytime some of the best party holiday destinations in the world will offer unique party experiences such as daytime parties, boat parties and more however typically the traditional clubbing holiday is spent chilling around the beach or pool in the day time then giving it large on the night time.

We typically don’t recommend a party holiday that lasts longer than five days if you are going all out as only the rave and strong will last longer than five days, particularly if you are out partying every day. However, a party holiday destination is always a good choice if you want to pick a destination that is fairly affordable but with lots of things to do. There are plenty of cheap flights and cheap accommodation you can find even in peak season when planning a party holiday so round all your friends up and get planning!

Throughout this article, we will provide you with an idea of what a party holiday actually consists of, obviously whilst still keeping it PG! That being said if you are a first-time traveller and are unsure of what type of holiday you are looking for this guide to party holidays should help you understand what it is all about and why it is a good choice for large group holidays with friends.

Why you should book a party holiday

A party holiday is the perfect type of holiday for some people. Now we say some and not all as some people may like to travel slightly differently particularly if you are of an older age or have young children. That being said it’s each to their own and if you want to party on holiday when you are older, you can goddamn party when you are older, it’s your life so live it!

That being said a party holiday isn’t for everyone but there are plenty of people that do enjoy them and what they consist of because party holiday destinations are popping up all over the world. So what do they actually consist of and why should you book one?

Although you will find different party experiences depending on the country and destination you visit, there are plenty of activities and experiences that are akin to this type of holiday. If you are looking for a holiday that has a lively day and night time in particularly a holiday that is energetic, fun and allows you to meet new people, a party holiday is the perfect break for you and your friends.

Some common party holiday activities include:

  • Nightlife and clubbing
  • Beach parties
  • Pool parties
  • Themed events
  • Festivals
  • Bar crawls
  • Pub tours
  • Excursions and activities
  • Live performances and music events

If you are hoping for a fun-filled and action-packed holiday, a party holiday is the best choice for your summer break. You should book a party holiday if you are looking to celebrate and have fun with friends or loved ones. It’s all about letting loose and truly relaxing and having a great time with the people you care about.

Furthermore, party holidays give you some of the best and most memorable experiences you will ever have when travelling abroad on holiday. There are plenty of hilarious and fond memories I have from my party holiday experiences that I still speak with my friends about to this current day!

A party holiday is also a great choice for those looking to unwind and de-stress from the day-to-day realities of life. It allows you to take a break from your daily routine and allows you to temporarily let go of some of the responsibilities you may have back home for a week or two.

In addition to the positive connotations it also allows you to experience special events and see your favourite music performers in another country. This is particularly true if you are planning to attend a festival or live music event during your party holiday. Booking a party holiday allows you the opportunity to attend these events and get an unforgettable experience watching your favourite musicians and artists live!

Party holidays are also great because they are customizable and can easily be adjusted to your requirements and preferences. Whether you prefer a relaxed beach party or a wild clubbing night, you can pick and choose as the days pass whilst on holiday. If your accommodation is located in a tourist, party hotspot near the main strip you will more than likely have the freedom to do whatever you desire!

There are plenty of different aspects on why you should book a party holiday and although a party holiday may not appeal to everyone’s liking. It is a great way to have some memorable experiences with loved ones and make memories that will last a lifetime.

How to choose the best party holiday destination

When it comes to planning your holiday it can be difficult to pick which is the best party holiday destination to visit. For example, if you are a young adult with little money some destinations such as Magaluf and Ibiza will be the best choice for your party holiday. On the other hand, someone who may be a bit older that is looking for a more adventurous yet still heavily party and clubbing-themed holiday may opt for somewhere like Thailand or Las Vegas for their next party holiday destination.

As an experienced traveller myself, I would defiantly recommend researching the type of holiday and the amount of money you want to spend travelling. Furthermore, choosing the right time to visit these party holiday destinations is critical because if you travel out of season you may be left with a holiday where there is bad weather and little going on with nightclubs and party events shut down for the year.

Thus, I stress that you do your research on a location and ensure that it is going to be the best party holiday destination for you and those you are planning on travelling with. Furthermore, ensure that you travel and visit during the peak season when everything is open and the weather is at its optimal temperature.

In addition to this, make sure you book everything in advance if you don’t want to be disappointed and miss out on some of the biggest events that the location may be offering. There is no worse feeling than missing out on your favourite DJ because you forgot to book the pool party tickets in advance.

Some of the ultimate party holiday destinations that I can recommend are the following:
