The second ODI between India and New Zealand is to take place at Shahid Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. This is the first international match that the stadium is hosting and the local fans will be hoping that the match is as good as the first ODI at Hyderabad.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma went to the field for the toss. He won the toss but seemed a little bit confused about choosing the batting first or bowling first. He takes a little bit more time to select the options between the both. After taking a little time he chooses to field first.

In 2nd ODI India won the toss and elected to field first. But, at first Indian captain Rohit Sharma got confused after winning the toss. He didn’t decide what he wanted to choose first. Bowling or batting.

The Indian captain took a good minute to make up his mind and then decided to bowl First. Speaking after the toss, the Indian captain admitted that he forgot what he wanted to do after winning the coin flip. He said that he had plenty of discussions with his team about whether to bat or bowl first and just wanted to challenge themselves under difficult conditions.

I forgot what I wanted to do, we had plenty of discussions with my team about the toss decision, we just wanted to challenge ourselves under difficult conditions and situations. But we will bowl first. It was a good test for us. We know that the Wicket will get better to bat on and that was the challenge in front of us. Rohit Sharma also said that Bracewell batted well, but our bowlers bowled well in the end and won the game. There was a bit of dew during the practice sessions, but we have heard from the curator that it will not play a big role on the game days. We batted first in Hyderabad, but we want to bowl first here, with the same team as in the first ODI.

We would have bowled first as well, it is the first international game here so not sure how this wicket will play. The last game executed well in the bat and how can we do the same here looking to take back the experience, it’s important to win games but the experience of playing in these conditions will be handed as well. Ish (Sodhi) hasn’t pulled up well yet, so we are playing the same team.

Rohit Sharma praised Michael Brace well.

Rohit Sharma once again praised Michael Bracewell for his innings in the first ODI but he said that India bowled well in the end and won the game. The Indian captain also said that the team was going to be unchanged for the second ODI as well.
