Book review : Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life by Francesc Miralles and Hector Garcia

Book - Ikigai: The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life

From the name of the book, you can guess what the book is about. "Ikigai is a Japanese concept that combines the terms iki, meaning “alive” or “life,” and gai, meaning “benefit” or “worth.” When combined, these terms mean that which gives your life worth, meaning, or purpose," says Google. But this isn't it and there's so much more in the book that will help you in so many different ways.

Not just theoretical knowledge but this book also gives you practical examples and logical explanations to make you understand all the concepts mentioned. To be very honest, I bought the book because of its beautiful cover, yes and I'd no idea what the book was about but my decision didn't disappoint me. I was a beginner when I bought this so it's definitely a very easy read, doesn't really bore you (this kinda depends on you too, doesn't it ?), and allows you to take your time to breathe in all the information.

If you're someone who's feeling lost, searching for their ikigai, or if you've found it and just wondering what to do with it, this book is for you. Allow it to get you out of your bed and it will help you lead a better life. Happy reading!
