The Trace Awards 2023 took place in Kigali, Rwanda, as a groundbreaking event celebrating African and Afro-inspired music and artists across diverse genres, including Afrobeat, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Afro-pop, and more.

Hosted by Maria Borges and D'banj, the ceremony featured captivating performances by acclaimed artists, including Davido, Yemi Alade, Black Sherif, Kizz Daniel, and others.
