Following the outcome of the 2023 presidential Election in Nigeria, different citizens of Nigeria has expressed displeasure over the conduct of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission which produced Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress as the President of Nigeria. Despite the fact that, many people in Nigeria have complained about the conduct of the election, INEC has not apologized to Nigerians for failing the promises which they made to them before the election started.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, President Mohammad Buhari announced that, nothing will stop the inauguration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of Nigeria on May 29th, 2023 despite the petitions filed against Tinubu by Peter Obi of Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party.

Buhari who stated during his interview in Abuja that, he will move back to his village in Daura in Katsina state after the election and maintained that, if they disturb him in Daura, he will move to Niger Republic and enjoy his stay there.

It could be recalled that, Buhari said that, PDP lost the Presidential to APC because of overconfidence and lack of political strategy.

While reacting to this development, PDP has revealed some of the top secrets of behind the statement made by Buhari and called on the international community to impose visa ban and other travel restrictions on President Muhammadu Buhari over his comments on the 2023 elections, saying he was gloating over Nigeria' s worst election in recent memory.

This was contained in a press statement issued by theNational Publicity Secretary of PDP, Debo Ologunagba at a briefing in Abuja.

He accused President Buhari of attempting to bully the judiciary, which is currently handling electoral petitions into giving legitimacy to a clearly flawed election, asking that the sanctions be extended to all those involved in manipulating the outcome of the 2023 elections.

Debo Olugunagba told President Muhammadu Buhari that, Atiku and PDP did not lose the presidential election as he claimed and maintained that, they will reclaim their mandate through the Court of competent jurisdiction and told the international community not to allow Buhari to travel out of Nigeria after May 29th inauguration so that, he can give proper account of his administration in Nigeria. " We are not willing to surrender the mandate freely given to our party by the people irrespective of the threats, bullying and manipulation by the APC- led administration" .
