Still just thinking about your dreams?

I had so many dreams for as long as I could remember and all I ever just did was Thinking about them. The challenge was that at 17 and even at 25 I found it difficult to know the steps I needed to take to turn my dreams into goals. I wanted to write a book about my life because I knew someone could use the knowledge of knowing they are not alone, and I wanted to make a living with my own creativity – whether this was crochet or pyrography.

That as until I met someone who shared with me just how I could publish my first book, just how I could create a magazine (if I wanted to), just how I could create coloring pages and just how I could actually make a living from my art. Sometimes all we need is to meet that one person that can show us the how.

But there is so much more to it than that! I realized that it was so much more than just knowing how to do the things. It was about getting my head and heart in a place that allowed me to believe that I could actually do what I wanted to do. It was overcoming imposter syndrome and acknowledging that I could do all the things I wanted to do – and other people didn’t need to believe me.

There is one tip I teach my clients that will help them every time they get an idea and ensure that they are holding steady on their goals, and that is when in doubt, write it out.

And actually there are loads of other small and easy things you can do even because just writing about your dreams isn’t making them a reality. And inside the Wild Hearted Year you will get support, accountability and your questions answered.
