Akash Ambani and his Wife Shloka Mehta on Friday revealed the name of their daughter. The son and daughter-in-law of billionaire Mukesh Ambani have named their daughter as Veda. The couple took to Instagram to announce the news on Friday.

“With the grace of Lord Krishna and the blessings of Dhirubhai & Kokilaben Ambani, Prithvi is thrilled to announce the birth of his little baby sister — Veda Akash Ambani,” the couple tweeted.

Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta welcomed their second child a week ago. In December 2020, the couple named their first child Prithvi.

Dhanraj Nathwani, who is a close friend of the Ambani children and the son of Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani, used Twitter as a platform to publicly declare the birth of the baby girl.

“Heartiest congratulations to Akash and Shloka Ambani on the joyous arrival of their little princess! May this precious blessing bring immense happiness and love to your lives,” he had tweeted.

In November of the previous year, twins Krishna and Aadiya were born to Isha, the twin sister of Akash, and her husband Anand Piramal.

Within Mukesh Ambani’s oil-to-telecom-to-retail conglomerate, there are three children who hold key roles. Akash is responsible for overseeing the telecom business, Isha is actively involved in the retail venture, and Anant is in charge of the new energy vertical.
