Giuseppe Peano



Italian mathematician Piano was born in August 1858 in Sardinia, Italy. His ascension took place on April 20, 1932 in Turin, Italy. Interested in Foundations of Mathematics, Piano is considered the founder of Symbolic logic. He initiated the language of formal logic. He became a professor of infinite simal calculus at the University of Tucson in 1884 and became a professor in 1890. He discovered Continuous mapping of a line onto every point of square.

He also worked in the field of numerology. The arithmetic he developed is Peanos's Arithmetic; (PA) is called. This program of his is said to be very important. Because he used model theory and recurson theory. He also mentioned various achievements and facts related to natural numbers. He also mentioned various facts and evidences in this regard. In addition to this, he has also done many studies in relation to numbers and mathematics.



Karl Theodor Wilhelm Weierstrass



Karl Theodor Wilhelm Weierstrass
was born on 31 Oct 1815 in Ostenfeld, Germany. He died on February 19, 1897 in Berlin, Germany. German mathematician Weierstrass is also called the father of the modern theory of functions.

His strict father sent him to the University of Bonn at the age of 19 to study law and finance. He wanted him to enter the government service after studying the subject. But he returned home without a degree after spending too much time on drinking and fashion. He then joined the Academy of Moonstar in 1839 to become a secondary teacher. At that academy he was greatly influenced by mathematics professor Christoph Goodman. Especially he started showing more interest in Elliptic Function. Emphasis was placed on expanding productivity through the use of Power Series. It was because of this that Professor Christoph got Weierstrass interested in the function theory.

In 1841, Weierstrass received a teacher's certificate and entered the teaching profession. Having worked as a teacher for 14 years, he was not paid the same as his peers in the teaching profession. Therefore, he did not work together with his colleagues. He worked exclusively in Analysis. He did a lot of work on Arithmetization of Analysis. In this work, he advanced the point that Analysis is developed based on the theory of real numbers.

In 1861, he discovered the facts that A function that, throughout Continuous has no derivative at any point. He worked on the theory of functions pioneered by Niels Abel and Carl Jacobi. He published in Crelle's Journal in 1954 on Abelian functions. The University of Koenigwarz then recommended that he be awarded an honorary doctorate. When he got an offer to go for a profession from any university in Australia, a person named Kuvar changed his mindset. He then started working as an assistant professor at the Technical University of Berlin. Later he also became a professor in the same university. Thus, although he entered the field of mathematics late, he managed to make an important contribution to the development of abstract mathematics like Analysis. His contributions to the field of mathematics are briefly summarized as follows.

• Analyzing the analysis from a mathematical point of view showed a way to find out about it.
• Explained that analysis will be developed based on real numbers and opened the door for further research.
• Started the modern method in the development of analysis in the field of mathematics.
• Made important discoveries in Theory of function and Elliptic function.
• The latest aspects he introduced in the field of Analysis gained popularity.



Jules Henri Poincare



Jules Henri Poincare was born on April 29, 1854 in Nancy, France. He died on 17 July 1912 in Paris, France. He is known as a universal of mathematics. He is recognized as one of the most influential mathematicians of modern times. In particular, he made important contributions in the fields of complex functions, algebraic geometry, differential geometry and applied mathematics. His contributions to the field of mathematics are mentioned in the following points.

• He developed abstract dynamical systems in relation to the topology and stability of the solar system.
• He noted that physical laws can remain in the Lorentz group without any characteristic changes.
• He pioneered algebraic topology.
• Developed theory of analytical function of several complex variables.
• He developed Automorphic function. From which he developed the concept of second order linear differential equations with algebraic coefficients.
• He helped in the development of number theory mostly based on Diaphantine equation.
• Under experimental mathematics he worked in the field of optics, electricity, telegraphy, capillarity, thermodynamics, potential theory, quantum theory, theory of relativity and cosmology.
• Studied the three body problem of mechanics. In which the position, mass and speed of three objects are calculated. which principle is used to relate the movement of celestial bodies. This theory supports the laws of gravity and motion.
