1. Misty Knight

2. Valkyrie 

Valkyrie, also known as Brunnhilde, is a formidable Asgardian warrior and member of the Valkyrior, the legendary female warrior in Norse mythology. 

She first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1970. Valkyrie is skilled in combat and rides the winged horse, Aragorn. She has been associated with The Avengers and other superhero groups. 

Valkyrie was also a key character in the “Fearless Defenders” series, leading an all-female team of heroes.

3. Storm

She’s one of Marvel’s most iconic characters and a prominent member of the X-Men. She made her first appearance in 1975. 

As a mutant, Storm can manipulate weather elements, including creating lightning, controlling wind, and summoning rainstorms. Storm is often portrayed as a wise and compassionate leader, serving as the headmistress of the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning at times. 

She has been a central figure in many X-Men storylines and part of other superhero teams like the Avengers.

4. Tilda Johnson

This villain and anti-hero character first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1973, Tilda Johnson, also known as Nightshade, is highly intelligent and skilled in science and engineering. 

She has used her knowledge to create various gadgets and concoctions, including mind-controlling devices. Nightshade has crossed paths with various Marvel heroes over the years.

5. Monica Rambeau

You cannot skip Monica Rambeau when talking about black Female Marvel Characters. She is a powerful superhero who can transform her body into various forms of energy. 

She first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1982. Monica has been affiliated with several superhero groups, including the Avengers and the Ultimates. She has taken up various codenames over the years, including Captain Marvel and Photon, before adopting the name Spectrum. 

Monica Rambeau is a capable and respected hero with a prominent role in several key storylines.

6. Mariah Dillard

This character is primarily known for her appearances in Marvel’s Luke Cage comics as Mariah Dillard. 

In the comics, she’s a powerful crime lord and a nemesis of Luke Cage. She’s also portrayed as a cunning and manipulative individual who seeks to control the criminal underworld in Harlem. 

In some versions, Mariah Dillard is depicted as having a connection to the Stokes crime family.

7. Shuri

This character appeared in Marvel Comics as the younger sister of T’Challa (Black Panther) and a prominent character in the Black Panther comics. 

Shuri is a princess of Wakanda and a highly skilled warrior and genius inventor known for her intellect, technological prowess, and combat abilities. At various times in the comics, she has taken up the mantle of the Black Panther and served as Wakanda’s ruler in T’Challa’s absence.

As time passes and after T’Challa’s death, she’s re-introduced to us as she takes upon the responsibility of being a Black Panther to protect her people from Namor. 

8. Okoye

Okoye is a character from the Black Panther comics and a member of the Dora Milaje. 

They are an elite group of female warriors who serve as the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther. She’s a fierce and skilled warrior, loyal to the throne of Wakanda. In addition to her combat abilities, Okoye is also a skilled tactician and leader.

9. Cecilia Reyes

Dr. Cecilia Reyes is a mutant character with the ability to generate a protective bio-field around herself, making her a formidable force in battles. 

She has been associated with the X-Men and has served as a medical doctor for the mutant population. Cecilia is often portrayed as a caring and compassionate individual utilizing her medical skills to help others.

10. Riri Williams/ Iron Heart

Growing up as a mischievous child and genius student, gets into M.I.T. After her best friend and step-father are killed, Riri Williams builds her own superhero armor using Iron Man Model 41 and campus scraps. 

Tony Stark offers her support and guidance, and she becomes Ironheart. Joining the Iron Man group in the Second Civil War, she faces challenges with determination and courage, proving her strength as a formidable superhero.

She made an appearance in Black Panther 2, fighting alongside Shuri and the Wakandans fighting Namor.
