INTRODUCTION
WHAT IS MARRIAGE?
Marriage is seen as a covenant ,God ordained communion between a man a woman. Marriage was first introduced in the book of Genesis by God himself. Genesis 2 : 24 says :-
"This explains why a man leaves his father and his mother and be joined to his Wife and the two are united into one."
The husband must devote himself to his wife's good and the wife must yield herself to her husband. Some see the relationship ship as one of mutual submission and equal responsility while others stress the wife's subservience to the husband.

God divinely fashion the woman under his forming hands.
A man like creature grew, but of different sex. She is so lovely and fair, he made a woman , a wine for Adam in the Garden of Eden.

In prayer we find time to be alone with our loving God, who promises to hear and answer us.
Sometimes we receive more than we ask for or even think its possible to receive. Other times God denies our specific request for the greater goal of experiencing his Grace in our lives.

We must pray in humility, in faith ,in honesty , in confidence , in Jesus name and in accordance with his will..
God wants us to be persistent in prayer but also wants us to accompany prayers with action.

" A newly married man must not be drafted into the Army or be given any other official duties/responsibilities. He must be free to spend one year at home , bringing happiness to the wife he has married."

May my responsibilities in life not affect my commitment and other duties to my wife and family.
Father I ask that you give financial ,quality time ,space ,and resources to spend enough time with my wife and family.

" A worthy wife is a crown for her husband, but a disgraceful woman is like cancer in the bones."

Father grace me with wisdom ,knowledge and understanding to find a good wife.

" Fathers can give their sons an inheritance of houses and wealth.
But only the Lord gives an understanding wife"
Only you can give an understanding wife/husband, Lord please I pray for an understanding wife/husband in Jesus name.
May my wife/husband be a reason of more wealth in our family in Jesus name.

Lord lead me in the preparation of my marriage,I pray for success in Jesus name.
You are the one that gives victory, may I be victorious in my marriage in Jesus name.

He guides it where ever he pleases"
Direct my heart oh lord, the way you direct the streams of water to the right person in Jesus name.

Help me to be faithful and love my wife as you have commanded and shown us through Jesus.
I pray against everything called divorce with wife/husband and family in Jesus name.

"Let your wife/husband be a fountain of blessing to you.
Rejoice in the wife of your youth."
Lead me to a wife/husband that will be a fountain of blessing to me .
Help me to rejoice in her all the days of my life.
Help me holy spirit to always be captivated by her in Jesus name.
Help me not to lost after other women but be satisfied with her.

" Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies"
Help me to find a virtuous and capable wife ohlord.
The woman that will be more precious than precious stones to me.
Give me a woman I can trust completely with my future, children and all.
MALACHI 2 : 14
" you cried out, but why doesn't the Lord accept our worship, I will tell you why!
Because the lord witness the vows you and you wife made when you were young but you have been unfaithful to her,though she remains your faithful partner.the wife of your marriage vows."
Help me to keep the vows I will make to my wife in Jesus name.
Help me not to overwhelm her with cruelty or wickedness but love.
Help me to stay away from idols worshipping women.(materialistic woman)
Help me to be loyal to my marriage and wife and family.
I thank you Lord for the Grace and answered lprayers in Jesus name.
CONCLUSION
May God hear and answer the prayers of our hearts and give us wife , husband and family that is after Gods heart in Jesus name.
