Tchidi Chikere in response to criticism for marrying Judy Austin’s best friend says, “Why I got married for a third time.”

The third marriage of Nigerian director Tchidi Chikere drew scathing criticism, prompting him to confront his most recent union.

The filmmaker previously wed actress Nuella Njibigbo, who has since also filed for divorce from him, after his first two marriages to Sophie and to her also failed.

Tchidi Chikere, a filmmaker, announced his second marriage on Instagram by posting a photo of his wife’s ring finger with the caption;

“Married! We did it here some months ago..just so my friends and fans know I’m okay and HAPPY. God is on the throne”.

Since then, it has been made known that the new partner is an actress named Kenechukwu Ezeh, who is friendly with Judy Austin, Yul Edochie’s second wife.

The director, however, received heavy criticism for choosing to get married rather than better himself.

He issued a warning to his fans and followers on his Instagram page, saying that nobody would make up for the years they endured waiting and being miserable.

He counseled them to choose their friends carefully and fall in love with a decent woman or guy, regardless of how long it takes them to find a mate.

They only have one life to live, Tchidi continued.

“Someone needs to hear this advice. No one will pay you for how long waited. How long you stayed unhappy? How. long you were alone. We are l solitary birds… Choose you! Love your real friends. Fall in love with a good woman or man, no matter how long it takes you to find him/her, or how many times you try. You have only one life to live. Most of all, be at peace with God”.
