Peter Obi declares, “I won the 2023 presidential election, and I’ll prove it in court.”

The Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president, Peter Obi, promises to show Nigerians that he was victorious in the election.

Wednesday saw the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, had won the presidential election.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who received 6,984,52 votes, came in second to Tinubu with 8,794,726 votes, and Obi with 6,101,533 votes.

At a press conference on Thursday in Abuja, Obi declared that he will pursue every legal option to regain his mandate.

The just concluded presidential election was said to be rigged as the whole world could see that the INEC had partnered with the APC to rig the election in favor of the APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The European Union observers had also made a press statement, saying that the Nigerian presidential election was not transparent.

The 2023 presidential election, according to the LP standard bearer, is possibly the “most contentious” in the nation’s history.

The election results should not be seen as the end, but rather as a new beginning, Obi advised his followers.

According to him, this election was one of the most contentious ones ever held in Nigeria.
