A teenager named Yusuf Alami explains why he stood in front of Peter Obi’s convoy during the operation in Lagos.
At a Labor Party rally in Lagos state on Saturday, Alami was pictured in a photo that went viral on social media. The photo shows him with his arms outstretched in front of a Toyota Prado SUV and the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, standing from the car’s sunroof and smiling at the teenager. .
Alami revealed in an interview that he stood in front of Peter Obi’s motorcade out of love for his candidate.
Alami, a Lagos resident from Ibadan, admired Obi’s kindness and said he liked him a lot.

Peter Obi’s presidential campaign ended Saturday’s rally at Tafawa Balewa Square on Lagos Island after visiting each of the federal 36 states.
The rally was attended by Obi’s running mate Datty Baba Amed and Pa Ayo Adebanjo, leader of the socio-political Yoruba organization Afenifere.
