Police Arrest Man For R@ping 8-year-old Girl At Kn!fepoint In Kebbi State
The Kebbi State Police Command has arre$ted a man identified as Zayyanu Abubakar, alias Chinnaka, for r@ping an 8-year-old girl in Wasagu, Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of the state, OPAGNEWSTV reports.
The spokesman of the command, SP Nafi’u Abubakar, revealed this in a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
He said that on January 7, at about 4:00 pm the father of the girl reported the matter to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Wasagu.
According to the PPRO, the complaint informed the police that the suspect, who lives in Masallaci area of Wasagu, at about 1:00p.m, allegedly r@ped his daughter, aged eight years.
He said the father alleged that the suspect took the girl into an uncompleted building, threatened to kill her with a knife, ate her fried grasshopper worth N2,500, and forcefully had sexu@l intercourse with her.
The police spokesperson said the suspect had been arre$ted and transferred to Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution.
