The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says any attempt by any political party to rig the November 11 governorship election in Imo State will be strongly resisted.

According to the PDP, all electoral indicators have shown that it would dislodge the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State and win the Election.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, explained that Governor Hope Uzodinma and his Party, the APC, would not enjoy the support of the citizens of the state in the forthcoming governorship election.

He said that the APC knows that it does not have the mandate of the people, stressing that Governor Uzodinma has no visible organic support base in any part of Imo State.
