Cardi B enjoyed some quality time with her family as she went for a Mother’s Day dinner with her son Wave, 20 months, in New York City on Sunday.

The rapper, 30, looked incredible for the outing as she slipped into a Skintight Orange Midi dress that highlighted her figure.

The hitmaker added height to her frame with a pair of strappy heels and added to her look with a green handbag.

Cardi drew further attention to her look with chunky blue necklaces which she paired with matching bracelets.

Letting her locks fall loosely down her shoulders, the star completed her outfit with blue pendant earrings.

Cardi held hands with her son Wave who was dressed in a brown hoodie and yellow and orange trousers.

The WAP singer shares Wave and her daughter Kulture, four, with her husband and fellow rapper Offset.

Cardi spent some quality time with her two children at Cipriani Downtown before receiving a windfall of luxurious gifts from Offset.

Before Cardi was showered with designer handbags and flowers, she got a very heartwarming present from her mom Clara, a retired cashier originally from Trinidad.

‘Awwwwww mom,’ wrote Cardi, captioning snaps of her mother’s custom gift: two crystal hearts that showed the Grammy winner holding her children. 

Cardi B gushed about the gift in her Instagram video, describing the hearts as ‘so beautiful’ and ‘so thoughtful’ and declaring: ‘I love it more than any name brand I could ever receive.’

But the name brands soon showed up in a major way as the Bodak Yellow artist opened up some luxurious black gift bags from A-list boutique What Goes Around Comes Around. 

‘Alright,’ she says in her video snippet, ‘my baby daddy got me this. Late but always on time. Let me see…’

Opening her presents from Offset, Cardi found a pair of quilted lambskin Chanel handbags that run upwards of $6K each, according to the website for What Goes Around Comes Around . 

‘Thank you, baby daddy!’ proclaimed the I Like It songstress, who went on to add that she ‘never gets tired of getting new purses’ even though she’s ‘overpursed.’

But there was another surprise in store for Cardi as her rapper beau filled the foyer of their lavish home with nine gigantic bouquets of red roses. 

The Up songstress was giddy with delight as she recorded a video of the breathtaking display and repeatedly thanked Offset. 

The pair’s relationship has not always been smooth sailing, as they briefly parted ways in 2018 after videos surfaced that appeared to show Offset in bed with other women. 

Cardi had recently given birth to their daughter Kulture and she referenced this in a candid Instagram video announcing their split: ‘It’s nobody’s fault. I guess we grew out of love but we are not together anymore.

‘I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father.’

But two months later the rappers reconciled and soon welcomed their son Wave into the world.
