BJP Accuses KCR of Vote-Buying and Neglecting Youth’s Future in Telangana

BJP Accuses KCR of Vote-Buying and Neglecting Youth’s Future in Telangana

Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP national general secretary and Member of Parliament representing Karimnagar, has accused Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) of pursuing every possible avenue to secure votes in the upcoming elections. Sanjay Kumar made these allegations while speaking to the media after visiting Ganesh pandals in various colonies of Karimnagar city.

The BJP MP pointed a finger at the ruling party, BRS (Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi), accusing them of donating substantial sums of money in every assembly constituency to establish Ganesh pandals. He asserted that the BRS was exploiting the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations for political gains.

Moreover, Sanjay Kumar went on to claim that during the recent by-elections in the state, KCR’s administration distributed cash amounts ranging from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 per vote. This alleged vote-buying, according to Sanjay Kumar, raises serious concerns about the integrity of the electoral process in Telangana.

He did not mince words in his criticism of KCR’s decade-long tenure as Chief Minister, asserting that, aside from various scandals and political maneuvering, KCR had failed to deliver substantial benefits to the people of Telangana.

One issue that drew particular ire from Sanjay Kumar was the suspension of Group-I examinations, which he contended had adversely impacted the lives of countless students. Bandi Sanjay Kumar further criticized the BRS government’s inability to conduct even the 10th and intermediate examinations in the state effectively.

Sanjay Kumar expressed deep concern for the youth of Telangana, emphasizing that parents must recognize the potential bleakness of their children’s futures under KCR’s leadership. Tragically, Bandi Sanjay Kumar noted, a young man named Murali Mudiraj had taken his own life at a university, leaving his grieving parents in anguish.

To address these pressing concerns, the BJP MP issued several demands. He called upon the state government to provide Rs 1 lakh to each candidate who had appeared for the Group-I examination. Additionally, he proposed relaxing the age criteria for the next examination, enabling unemployed youth to have a fair chance. Sanjay Kumar also advocated for providing Rs 3,116 to every unemployed individual until they secure gainful employment.

Furthermore, Sanjay Kumar raised alarms about the rising drug use in the state, attributing it, in part, to the promotion of liquor by the KCR administration. He called for concerted efforts to address these pressing societal issues.

In conclusion, the BJP MP asserted that the BJP is committed to unseating Chief Minister KCR and the BRS government. Bandi Sanjay Kumar urged the people of Telangana to join hands with the BJP in challenging the status quo and fighting for a better future for the state. The upcoming elections are expected to be a crucial battleground as various parties vie for the mandate of the people of Telangana.
