“PM Modi Unveils Hira Global Convention Centre”
The Sai Hira Global Convention Centre in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, was officially inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference. People from all over the world, including well-known leaders, attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Prime Minister addressed the group and thanked everyone for attending the ceremony even though he was physically unable to do so due to other commitments. Shri Modi stated that “Sri Sathya Sai’s blessings and inspirations are with us today” and expressed his joy that his mission is being enlarged and that the nation is receiving a new, world-class conference centre by the name of Sai Hira Global Conference Centre. The new centre will foster a spiritual and opulent modern experience, the prime minister expressed confidence.
According to him, the centre will serve as a hub for conversations on spirituality and academic programmes where researchers and professionals can gather. It also boasts cultural diversity and conceptual grandeur.
According to the Prime Minister, any idea works best when it is put into practice. He added that today he witnessed the Leader’s Conference of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council in addition to the dedication of the Sai Hira Global Convention Centre. The Prime Minister praised the event’s theme, “Practise and Inspire,” and described it as both successful and pertinent. Shri Modi emphasized the significance of excellent behaviour by society’s leaders since society follows them. He stated that the life of Shri Sathya Sai is a living illustration of this. “Today, India is also making progress while balancing its obligations.” Amrit Kaal has been renamed “Kartavya Kaal” as we enter the century of independence. These vows incorporate both spiritual values advice and future resolutions. It has both Vikas (development) and Virasat (heritage).”
The Prime Minister went on to say that, while spiritual sites are being revitalized, India is also excelling in technology and the economy. In addition to having the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world, the Prime Minister highlighted that India has risen to become one of the top five economies in the world.
He also stated that India is competing with the world’s premier nations in areas such as digital technology and 5G. The Prime Minister emphasized that India accounts for 40% of all real-time internet transactions in the globe and challenged devotees to help transform the entire Puttaparthi district into a digital economy. He stated that if everyone works together to make this resolution a reality, the entire district will be digital by the next birth anniversary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The Prime Minister highlighted the contributions of all social classes in India’s transformative journey. He emphasized the Global Council as a platform to understand India and foster global connections. Quoting ancient scriptures, he compared saints to flowing water, ceaseless in thought and tireless in behaviour. He stated that a saint’s birthplace doesn’t limit their followers, as devotees embrace any true saint as their own, representing their beliefs and cultures. Saints have fostered the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat’ for centuries. Sri Sathya Sai Baba, born in Puttaparthi, has followers worldwide with institutions and ashrams in every Indian state. The devotion to Prasanthi Nilayam transcends language and culture, uniting India as an immortal thread.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the opportunity to interact with Sri Sathya Sai and receive his blessings. He admired the simplicity and profoundness with which Sri Sathya Sai conveyed powerful messages. Timeless teachings like ‘Love All Serve All’ and ‘Help Ever Hurt Never’ resonated with the Prime Minister, reflecting sensitivity and deep philosophy of life. He recalled Sri Sathya Sai’s guidance and compassionate support during the Gujarat earthquake, emphasizing that service to humanity is service to God.
The Prime Minister praised religious and spiritual institutions’ significant role in India’s social welfare. He acknowledged the Sathya Sai Trust’s contribution to development and heritage through initiatives like Bal Vikas, which fosters cultural values among the youth. He highlighted the Trust’s efforts in nation-building, empowering society, and providing free education through schools and colleges, as well as its humanitarian activity in supplying clean water to rural areas through the ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’.
The Prime Minister highlighted India’s global climate initiatives like Mission LiFE and its leadership role in the G-20. He emphasized the theme of One Earth, One Family, One Future. He mentioned the growing global interest in India, citing the world record for the most nationalities participating in Yoga at the UN Headquarters. People worldwide are adopting yoga, Ayurveda, and sustainable lifestyle practices from India. The return of stolen artifacts was also noted. The Prime Minister emphasized that India’s cultural and spiritual institutions, like the Sathya Sai Trust, play a significant role in these efforts.
The Prime Minister emphasized the ‘Prem Taru’ initiative to plant 1 crore trees within the next 2 years and urged support for tree plantation and a plastic-free India. He encouraged the adoption of solar and clean energy options. The Prime Minister praised the Sathya Sai Central Trust’s initiative of providing nutritious food to 40 lakh students in Andhra made from Shri Anna Ragi-Java, highlighting its health benefits. He expressed the belief that such initiatives if adopted by other states, will enhance India’s potential globally. The Prime Minister concluded by affirming that with the blessings of Sathya Sai, India will achieve development and serve the world.
