CPI fully supports the dharna in Delhi on 26th of this month for promises of special status and partition.

Amaravati: On behalf of the CPI, we fully support the dharna to be held in Delhi on 26th of this month under the auspices of the AP Special Status Sadhana Samiti to protest the injustice of Modi’s neglect of the state and the people at every step, special status and division, CPI State Secretary K. will participate directly. Ramakrishna Krishna revealed. CPI national leaders will also be invited for this dharna. He said that the Modi government has been doing injustice to the state time and time again, and all political parties, intellectuals, students and civil society leaders have been asked to respond and come to Delhi to oppose this.

On Wednesday, Parshiji held a press conference at Dasari Bhavan in Vijayawada along with the members of the State Secretariat. He said that in the meeting of the CPI state secretary, the situation in the state and public problems were discussed. He said that party general meetings will be held from 17th of this month in 26 districts across the state on the political situation of the country and the state.

He said that these meetings were organized to take the political developments in the country and the state to the lower level. He said that if people are suffering from many problems across the state, the government is treating them like lemon water. Recently Prime Minister Modi came to the state and on the occasion of his arrival in Visakha, a huge public meeting was held with about three lakh people led by CM Jagan, the state government, Y. YCP has been formed. He said that even though Jagan’s government had given a red card to Modi, Modi did not clarify any issue related to the state in that assembly. In the end, Modi acted to bring shame to the people of the state and the government, and at least he did not mention the name of CM Jagan. He said that there is no mention of Visakha railway zone, special package for backward districts etc. He said that if there is a mass agitation against the privatization of Visakhapatnam steel, neither CM Jagan nor Modi has given any assurance on the matter.

The same Prime Minister Modi…when he went to Telangana state, he explained that Singareni will not be raised and he is spreading bad propaganda about it. He said that the central and state governments are not responding to the Kadapa Pshi Sadalu factory as part of the promises of partition. He said that the CM Jagan had done Bhoomi Puja for the third time for that factory and not even a step forward. In protest against this, he explained that a padayatra will be held for five days from December 9 from the area where Steelu Shlant Bhoomi Puja was performed to the Kadapa Collectorate, in which the leadership of the CPI state station will participate along with him.

He said that the government is campaigning loudly and promising people that they will spend thousands of crores of rupees to build Jagananna colonies. They reminded that they demanded to give two cents while giving plots for houses. It was announced that the government would build the houses and imposed the rule that only the lobbyists should build them… All the colonies of Jaganna were limited to the foundations. It is pointless to criticize YCP as politics if Janasena leaders go to examine them.

In Anantapur, Housing Minister Jogi testified during the review and said that ruling party MLAs and officials were also angry that there was a shortage of sand and the bills were being delayed for those who built it. For construction of each house Rs. It was discussed in the CPI meeting to give 5 lakhs. He said that there are about 30 lakhs of deserving ‘poor’ people across the state and to put pressure on the government to build houses for all of them. Due to untimely rains across the state, farmers have suffered severe crop loss and are financially devastated and indebted. He reminded that CM Jagan had earlier promised to provide crop insurance facility to the farmers who lost. As a result, lakhs of farmers applied, but all of them were stopped.

He expressed concern that the condition of farmers in the state has become unbearable. He suggested that it is not appropriate to go with anti-Jagan attitude on the issue of farmers. Farmers Union and CPI have jointly called for protests across the state on December 12 on farmers’ issues, farmers have been asked to participate in large numbers and make a victory.

Meeting at Visakha Steel Plant on 21st: AITUC State General Secretary Obulesu Obulesu, State General Secretary of AITUC and Chairman of Visakha Steel Conservation Struggle, said that a meeting is being arranged at Visakha Pty Ltd. plant on 21st of this month to oppose the privatization of Visakha Steel Plant. During the visit of Prime Minister Modi to Visakha, all the people of the state hoped that the privatization of the steel plant would be stopped. Demanding that the Visakha steel factory should continue in the government sector… Visakha steel plant employees and the working class have called for agitation. He explained that labor, public unions and left-wing parties have protested across the state on 11th and 12th of this month in solidarity with it. He said that it is clear that both Modi and Jagan have ulterior motives to get financial benefit by handing over public sector organizations to Adani. Former MLC and members of CPI state secretariat Jalli Wilson, G. Eswariah and KVV Prasad participated in this press conference.
