Bayern Munich have won the German championship in dramatic way. The Bavarians won 2-1 in the final minute against Koln, and their 11th Straight Bundesliga title was confirmed with Dortmund's 2-2 draw against Mainz.

Bayern knew they had to win and hope that Dortmund, who were two points ahead at the time, didn't.

Bayern got off to a great start in the eighth minute when Leroy Sane set up Kingsley Coman to score.

By halftime, Dortmund had fallen down 2-0, and Bayern had more than one hand on the cup. Even with 10 minutes remaining, Dortmund had closed the gap but showed little evidence of turning the game around.

However, Bayern almost gave away the crown on 81 minutes when a Koln penalty, converted by Ljubicic, ensured the title was heading to Dortmund.

But, in this situation, who would bet against Bayern? They found a way, just like true champions do. Jamal Musiala created a yard of space on the edge of the box before firing into the far corner to give Bayern the championship.

Dortmund managed to tie the game late on, but it was not enough, and Thomas Tuchel owed his first title with the Bavarians to his previous club Mainz.
