2023 Volvo XC60 Review:

Good design and significant engineering combine in the 2023 Volvo XC60, and the result is a striking choice for a luxury SUV. The XC60’s cabin is a well-designed minimalist exercise – Prada meets IKEA. The four-cylinder engine is available in three versions: 247 hp B5, 295 hp B6, and 455 hp T8 plug-in hybrid, which are reasonably fuel efficient. And it depends on the engine you choose.

This gives the Perkin a much faster performance and a better feel behind the wheel. The technology is also highlighted. Volvo has the popular standard driver assistance and safety features. We’re not fond of the XC60’s Google infotainment interface, but it works well. If not particularly flashy, other compact SUVs are more practical, notably the Audi Q5 and BMW X3, which have more luggage space.

But the Volvo interior is not far off. And the attractive borders compensate for these minor flaws.

What’s New For 2023?

For 2023, Volvo’s recognizable Momentum, R-Design, and Signature trim levels will disappear, along with Center, Plus, and Ultimate trim. Instead, the base and models come with light or dark exteriors. Later models will change the chrome exterior to gloss black. In addition, there are new wheel designs and features, such as air suspension, which is currently only in the final version and has been improved. It comes in two new colors, Stone Black and Bright Dusk Metallic, and trims Yellow City Textile and Slate Nappa leather.

2023 Volvo XC60 Engine:

Volvo offers three powertrains in the XC60 – B5, B6, and T8 – all with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Under the hood of the B5-badged XC60s are a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 48-volt hybrid system with 247 horsepower.
