Garlic Prawns

GARLIC PRAWNS

Ingredients

Fresh Prawns – shell on or off

40g Butter

Rapeseed Oil

1 Teaspoon Garlic Puree

Dried Crushed Chilli

1 Lemon – cut into wedges

¼ Teaspoon Dried Parsley

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a fry pan & add a tablespoon of rapeseed oil – heat until sizzling
  2. Reduce the heat slightly & add the garlic puree, a sprinkling of crushed chilli & the parsley & mix – add the prawns & toss around turning over in the pan & cook for 4 – 5 minutes (depending on size) until the prawns have turned pink & cooked through
  3. Squeeze the juice of one of the lemon wedges into the pan & stir through the prawns
  4. Serve immediately with lemon wedges & crusty bread to soak up all the delicious juices.
