How to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on same device

Do you have multiple WhatsApp accounts? Are you frustrated of logging out of your personal Account to access the one that you use for your work? Well, WhatsApp is set to make things. The popular instant messaging platform is set to make it easier to access multiple accounts on a single device.

WhatsApp owner Meta has officially confirmed the arrival of the feature which is set to be rolled out in the coming days. The social media giant’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to Facebook to announce that WhatsApp will soon allow users to switch between their accounts on a single device.

Currently, users either have to carry around an extra phone or tablet to access these WhatsApp accounts, or they have to continuously log in and out of accounts to switch between them.

With this feature, users will be able to switch seamlessly between the accounts in the app. The “Dual WhatsApp Account” feature will also make it easier for users to manage their conversations across multiple accounts.

Things to remember
To use Dual WhatsApp Account, you will need a second phone number (it can be a physical SIM card or an e-SIM number). So ensure that your phone supports multi-SIM or eSIM connectivity or you have to use the secondary device. Only then you will be able to set up a second account in that device.

The alternate number will be required to receive the one-time passcode. Currently, WhatsApp sends the via SMS to allow users access to their accounts. Here’s a step-by-step guide of how to set up and use Multiple Whatsapp Accounts on a single device.
