Canon India has launched a new range of remote pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras at the 32nd Broadcast India Show, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from 8 to 10 October 2023.

This range includes the CR-N100 indoor remote PTZ camera and the CR-X300 and CR-X500 outdoor remote PTZ cameras, all of which offer exceptional quality and connectivity for a variety of broadcasting avenues such as conferences, sports events, wildlife observation, theme parks, and indoor events.

Canon is also showcasing its flagship cinematography and broadcasting range, including its complete range of camera solutions such as Cinema, ProDV, Mirrorless, Network Visual Solutions, and RF and Cinema Lenses. Visitors can experience these offerings through the brand’s booth concepts, which include technical sessions led by Canon Masters.

Canon’s booth was inaugurated by Mr. Manabu Yamazaki, the President and CEO of Canon India, along with the renowned cinematographer and Cinema EOS Ambassador, Mr. Santosh Sivan. Canon India, with its range of products for the cinema segment, and its newly-launched innovations that promise advanced video production, reinforces its reputation as a one-stop solution for all production-centric verticals.

The company positions itself as the ideal choice for today’s new-age broadcasting, filmmaking (Cinema, OTT, Documentaries, Music albums), efficient streaming solutions, electronic news gathering, general entertainment channels, Fashion, Wildlife, Weddings, and Vlogging needs.

Canon has set up three product experience zones to showcase the versatility of its imaging technology and products. These zones include the Cinema booth, Professional Video Camera booth, and Network Visual Solutions booth.

Each zone has eight different settings that are being led by actors with demarcated scripts and real-time shooting scenarios. These scenarios range from reality shows, OTT, cinema, and news broadcasts.

Canon is demonstrating the key scenarios across the three-day event, highlighting the supreme functionality and usage of their products. The concepts being depicted in the sessions include a flower shop, investigation scene, coffee shop, sports commentary room, cookery show, science lab, and yoga sessions.
