Online degree programs are designed so you can get everything done online. That said, you still have many ways to contact your friends and teachers. While you will not meet all your classmates this way, this is an opportunity for you to work with some of them remotely.

If you attend an online college, your classmates can be located all over the country (or the world), and your lecturer can very well be in different circumstances. If you are a degree program offered by brick-and-mortar schools, you may have the opportunity to interact with a Professor or a classmate of people, but that's up to you.
